Cookie Policy

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, which cookies DataCloud.sh uses on its website, and how you can control them. It should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your browser or device when you visit. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently, provide a better user experience, and give website owners information about how visitors use their site.

Similar technologies — such as local storage, session storage, and pixel tags — work in analogous ways and are also covered by this policy. For simplicity we refer to all of them as "cookies" throughout this document.

2. How We Use Cookies

DataCloud.sh uses cookies on our marketing website (datacloud.sh) and our application dashboard (app.datacloud.sh) for the following purposes:

2.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies

These cookies are essential for the website and application to function. Without them you cannot log in, authenticate API requests, or navigate securely between pages. They do not require your consent.

2.2 Analytics Cookies

We use privacy-focused analytics to understand how visitors navigate our website — which pages are popular, where users drop off, and what content drives sign-ups. This helps us improve the product experience. Where possible we configure analytics tools to anonymize IP addresses and disable cross-site tracking.

3. Third-Party Cookies

Some pages on our site embed content or scripts from third-party services (e.g., YouTube videos, payment forms, or embedded documentation). These third parties may set their own cookies according to their own privacy policies. We do not control third-party cookies and encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party services you interact with.

4. Managing Your Cookie Preferences

You have several options to manage or disable cookies:

4.1 Browser Settings

All modern browsers let you view, block, and delete cookies through their settings menus. Blocking all cookies may prevent some parts of our website from working correctly (e.g., you will not be able to stay logged in). Links to cookie management guides for common browsers:

4.2 Opt-Out Tools

For analytics and advertising opt-outs you can also use industry tools such as the NAI Opt-Out or DAA Opt-Out. For Google Analytics specifically, you can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

5. Do Not Track

Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" (DNT) signal to websites. At this time there is no common industry standard for how to respond to DNT signals and our website does not currently alter its behavior based on DNT signals. We will revisit this position if an enforceable standard is adopted.

6. Changes to This Cookie Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes to the cookies we use or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top. We encourage you to periodically review this page.
